From Global Brands to Local Business Growth — Powered by AI
Local Media Lab was born out of a lifelong passion for helping small businesses compete and thrive - without needing corporate-sized budgets or teams. That passion runs in my blood: my parents built and ran their own businesses, and I followed in their footsteps long before I ever heard the words “social media marketing.”
It all started in 2011, when I launched Local Media Lab (the first iteration), a small social media marketing agency designed to help local businesses navigate the fast-changing digital world. That early work opened doors — including an opportunity to join Discovery Channel’s social media team — and eventually led me into the heart of the media and entertainment industry.
Over the next decade, I took on senior roles in the digital space at NBCUniversal, working with powerhouse brands like E! Entertainment, Telemundo, and Syfy. I later became Managing Director of a global marketing agency, partnering with some of the world’s most iconic media & entertainment companies.
Yet no matter how far I climbed in the corporate sphere, I never lost my affinity for the doers and dreamers who power our local economies - the same spirit my family and I carried through every small-business challenge and triumph.
That’s why I relaunched Local Media Lab with a renewed mission.
